Simple Steps to Capture Audio from MP4 File

You can also capture audio from MP4 file, as MP4 is a container format that supports various codecs.
However, the audio capture feature in the MP4 container format is not enabled by default.

  1. Download VLC Player, install it, and open the video file.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + A or go to Tools > Preferences > Audio > Input.

  4. Navigate to the File menu and click Add.
  5. Choose a MP4 video file, and click Open.

Edit the MP4 file

  1. Open MP4 file using VLC or any other media player.
  2. Click on Add File button and navigate to the MP4 file on your PC.
