Extract DVD to MP4: Troubleshooting Guide

Change your default player

  1. Click the Start button and select Settings.

  4. If not, then check if the player supports MKV.

Check the media folder

  1. First, open VLC media player.
  2. Click Media to open that tab.

  4. Select your DVD’s drive.
  5. Then click Play to start the DVD.
  6. If VLC media player can’t play your DVD, it’s probably because the media folder isn’t set properly.

  1. Insert the DVD in the drive.
