Open Chrome
- Type chrome://settings/ in the browser’s address bar, and hit Enter.
- Scroll down to the Privacy section, and click on the Change proxy settings button.
- Here, you can uncheck the Use a proxy server for your LAN option.
Click on Settings
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Go to Network and click on Change Proxy Settings.
- Select Manual proxy configuration.
- Enter the IP address and port of the proxy.
- Click Save.
Click on Show advanced settings

Change Proxy to Manual
- Press the Ctrl + Shift + J buttons.
- Choose Settings from the Tools menu.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Click the Change Proxy Settings button.
- Next, select the Manual option.
- Click the OK button to save the options.
Check the box next to Bypass proxy server for local addresses
- Check the box next to Use a proxy server for your LAN
- Enter the IP address and port of the proxy host.
Restart Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome, and then try to access YouTube.
- If the error still persists, then open Google Chrome, and then click on the three-dot menu button.
- From the menu, click on Settings.
- Now, navigate to Advanced Settings.
- In the section called Network, check the box that says Use system proxy settings.
- Launch Chrome.
