Try reinstalling Arcextract software

  1. Right-click the Start button and launch Search.
  2. Type Arcextract in the Search bar and press Enter.
  3. Click on Uninstall Arcextract.

  5. Launch the web browser and navigate to the Arcextract website.

Perform a Clean boot

  1. Press Windows Key + R
  2. Type msconfig

  6. Under Service status, select Disabled

Disable the Virus protection

  1. Open the Windows search bar and type †̃Virus protection’
  2. Open Virus & threat protection

  4. In Virus & threat protection settings , click on Virus & threat protection’s settings.
  5. In the Virus & threat protection’s settings, turn on the Virus & threat protection tab.
  6. Scroll down and click on the Exclusions tab.

  7. In the Exclusions tab, click on the Add button.
  8. Under Exclusions tab, click on Add button.
  9. Under the File path, type C:\Program Files\ArcSoft\Media Gallery (this path may vary depending on your Arcsoft software installation location).
  10. In the Name box, type ArcExtract.exe.

  1. Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.

Reinstall Arcextract

  1. Go to Start > type Arcextract > right-click Arcextract > select Uninstall
  2. Restart your PC

  4. Run the setup file, and follow the instructions

Perform a System Restore

  1. Press Windows + S and type System Restore.
  2. Select Create a restore point from the list of results.
