Modify the Print Screen shortcut key
- Open Search using the Windows key + S keyboard shortcut. Type Control in the search box.
- Click Control Panel in the results.
- Double-click the Keyboard icon to open that applet.
- Click the Keyboard Settings option.
- Select the App Shortcuts tab.
- Select the Print Screen listed there.
- Click the Change button.
- Then you can modify the shortcut key for the Print Screen option.
- Try accessing the Print Screen button after you modify the shortcut key.
Change Print Screen settings
- Press Windows Key + R to open Run.
- Type regedit in the text field and click OK to open Registry Editor.
- In the left pane, navigate to the following location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesExplorer - In the right pane, right-click on the Default key and click on Modify.
- In the right panel, paste the following path:
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlKeyboard Layout” - In the right pane, double-click on Print Screen key and add the following path:
“Control PanelHardware and SoundKeyboard” - Close Registry Editor.
Install the latest updates
- Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings app, and select the Update & Security option.
- Now, click the Check for updates button. If any updates are available, they’ll be installed automatically.
Uninstall and reinstall the Logitech keyboard software
- Go to Control Panel > Add or remove programs > double-click Logitech keyboard software
- Click the Uninstall button
- Restart the computer
- Go to Logitech website > download and install the Logitech keyboard software
- Restart the computer
