Troubleshooting norton authentication service Errors: Step-by-Step Guide

Check your system date and time

  1. Go to Start > type date and time in the search field > select Change date and time.
  2. Check the date and time, and make sure they are correct.

Check your proxy settings

  1. To troubleshoot proxy-related errors, click on the Apple menu, then choose System Preferences.
  2. Click on the Network icon.

  2. Select Update & Security.
  3. Select Recovery.
