Fixing Realtek Bluetooth Issues

Many users have reported that they are unable to pair their Bluetooth device with the PC under Windows 10.

Disconnect peripherals

  1. Disconnect your Bluetooth devices, such as mouse and keyboard.

  2. After that, try installing your Bluetooth drivers once more.
  3. Remove and reinstall Bluetooth drivers
    Press the Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the list.
  4. Locate the Bluetooth entry, right-click on it and choose Uninstall device.
  5. Now, click on Scan for hardware changes. Windows will now automatically install new drivers.

Uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth drivers

  1. Press the Windows key + S, type Device Manager, and select the relevant search result.
    Locate the Realtek Bluetooth drivers and right-click them.
  2. Select Uninstall device from the menu.
    Select Uninstall device from the menu.
  3. Click on Uninstall to confirm.
  4. Perform a Clean boot to troubleshoot Bluetooth issues.

Perform an SFC scan

  1. To open the Run accessory, press the Windows key + R hotkey.
  2. Type sfc /scannow in the Run accessory.

  3. Press the Enter key.

Create a new registry key

  1. Right-click on My Computer and select Run as Administrator.
  2. In the Run window, type regedit and press “Ok”.

  4. Create a new subkey called “DeviceProperty”.
  5. Click “OK”.
  6. Right-click on the DeviceProperty subkey and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
  7. Name the new value “PDIF”.
    Name the new value "PDIF".
  8. Set its value to “1”.
  9. Restart your PC.

  1. Go to Lenovo’s official support website.
  2. Download the latest Bluetooth driver from the support page.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your PC.
