The VPN option might be disabled on WhatsApp. If you have the VPN option enabled and you try to tunnel Internet through WhatsApp, the VPN will not work.

Change your Wifi settings
- Open your Wifi Panel and make sure that your Wifi connection is working properly.
- If it’s not, check the settings, and connect it to a different router or modem.
- If your Wifi is working, try to change some Wifi settings on your phone.
- Go to your Wifi settings and change some options.
- Try to change the channel of your router, or change the Wifi security settings, or the Wifi password, or anything else that you can change.
Turn off firewall

Change your DNS
- Open Settings app and navigate to the Network & Internet section.
- Select WiFi from the left pane. Now select Advanced options from the right pane.
- Locate the DNS section and tap Manual.
- Enter 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as Preferred DNS servers and 8.8.8.4 as Alternate DNS servers (you can also use Google DNS).
